Day 1 – Munnar

You will be received at Cochin International airport/railway station by our representative. He will help you with the initial formalities. From here you will proceed to Munnar (140 kms – 4 hours). On the way to Munnar you may visit Cheeyappara, Valara waterfalls. You can also visit the spice plantation on the journey.

Day 2 – Sightseeing at Munnar

2. Mattuppetty dam
3. Kundala lake
4. Honey bee tree
5. Pothamedu view point
6. Blossom park
7. Echo point.

Day 3 - Thekkady

Please have your breakfast and check out by 8:00 am. Please proceed to Thekkady (110 kms – 3 hours). Thekkady is famous for its abundance in wildlife and natural beauty. Upon arrival, do the boating in the Periyarlake. Spice plantations near Thekkady are famous and if interested, you can buy fresh spices.

Day 4 - Kumarakom

Have your breakfast and drive to Kumarakom. Kumarakom is a small backwater village 120 kms away from Thekkady. Kumarakom is a small village on the shores of Vembanadulake. Even though small, it is a very beautiful village with great culture. Please check in the resort and relax. Sunset cruise on a country boat can be done by evening.

Day 5 - Houseboat

Today can be the most exciting day of your trip. Have your breakfast and check out by 11:00 am. Please check in the houseboat by around 12:00 pm. You can enjoy your lunch on the boat while it goes into the vast backwaters. Paddy fields, coconut lagoons, canals etc. adds beauty to the backwaters.

Stay overnight on the houseboat.

Day 6 – Departure

Please have the breakfast and check out by 10:00 and proceed to Cochin for departure.
